I love it. Steve Jobs started the Apple comeback by making fun of Intel processors. Now, he has embraced them as being superior to the chips from IBM. Regardless of what people think, the Powerbook G4’s were without question desperately in need of an upgrade. Rumors say heat and power issues made it impossible to put a G5 in a Powerbook. I believe the past doesn’t matter. What matters is that the MacBook Pro with a new Intel Core Duo processor is clearly superior to the current Powerbook G4’s. I can’t wait to get my hands on one to replace my trustworthy 12″ Powerbook G4.
