I love Quicksilver. It is the killer app for Mac OS X. It lets me open any program I want by simply hitting CTRL + SPACE and typing whatever program I want to launch, like Firefox for example. Find it at http://quicksilver.blacktree.com/. Read their explanation of what Quicksilver does.
